- DownloadSquad has an interesting article titled “Ten Tips for Web Design Magic“. The title is a little misleading, but the article is still quite good.
- LifeHacker reviews a cool tool which allows you to make an offline copy of any website. Its called GearsMonkey, and requires Google Gears.
- Adobe has a new service called Share. It is a web-based service which will let you to upload, share files by embedding it in web page or blog or send documents without e-mail attachments, and access your documents from anywhere. The service is in Beta currently.

- TheLaw: Provides free legal advice and legal forms. They have a good discussion forum as well.
- FreeAdvice: Provides free legal advice on 100+ legal topics.
- MyTechnologyLawyer: Paid services.
I’m sure there are many other websites which provide similar services. Do list them out in the comments below.

- LifeHacker has a nice post on what essential tools a “placeless office” must use. Out of the list mentioned, I use Gmail and Mediawiki a lot.
- David Airey has a wonderful list of 50 graphic design blogs. A wonderful article to bookmark along with the list of 50 blogs!
- Do you need some inspiration for your blog. Skelliewag has a list of 70 places to find ideas for your blog.
- Do you like PayPal and want to find better ways of using it. Here is a list of 10 cool ways to use PayPal.
- GNUCash is an open source accounting software which is supported on Linux and Windows. If you have been on the lookout for a free tool which is well supported, give this one a try. The other one you can try, even though its not open source is IdeaWins. This is from none other but Microsoft!

- Google Earth has launched some nifty add-ons to Google Earth. You can now get the latest (almost!) weather reports on Google Earth. Read about it at the Google Earth Blog.
- YouTube now supports multiple file upload. The installer is available for Windows.
- Apple’s iPhone has been launched across Europe. Read the news report at BusinessWeek.
- Are in the US and in need for driving directions? Head over to the closest gas station and Google Maps will come to your rescue. Pretty soon, Google will be available in gas stations across the USA!

- YouTube Canada is now live! This will now ensure that Canadian’s get access to some local media content on this specific website. YouTube has been recently launching region specific portals to draw in more users to their service.
- Microsoft is launching Sync Framework to take on Google Gears. Both these applications target offline usage of web applications. A good example of Google Gears in action is integrated into Google Reader.
- Do you want to give out a press release for free? Mashable has a list of 20+ press distribution sites. The discussion on the article is interesting and gives insights into which of those sites are popular.
- Google’s OpenSocial is getting larger by the day. They already have an impressive list of social networks that have joined this network. This includes the likes of LinkedIn, Plaxo, MySpace, Hi5, etc.
- Do you want to watch movies for free? DownloadSquad has an interesting article on 5 websites where you can watch movies (legally!) for free.
- Adobe has launched a beta of BuzzWord, a free online Word Processing Software to take on the like of Google Docs, and Zoho.

- Mashable has a wonderful review about Hulu. Hulu is an online video site from NBC and News Corp.
- Want to create a button or a badge for your website? Have a look at this list of button & badge makers and let loose your creative side…
- Amazon.com got a weird patent awarded to them whereby you just put your search string in the URL. Duh! Isn’t there enough and more prior art on this already? Lets see how this unfolds in the coming months.
- Read the Mozilla Blog on how the look and feel will change in Firefox 3. Sounds exciting to me, but there has been an uproar in the Linux community about them being neglected in this release.

- GigaTribe is a revolutionary program that lets you share entire folders with friends in a private peer to peer (P2P) environment. Share all your files (home movies, pictures, documents…) no matter how large they are. It is secure, encrypted…and free!
- LifeHacker has a nice list of useful Google Products, which are all free to use. Its a useful consolidation of tools from Google many of which you might have forgotten about!!
- Mashable has a report on the Top 10 LinkedIn tools. I’ve used a few of these tools before as I love LinkedIn. If you’re not already on LinkedIn, do join today.
- Do you use Facebook? Yes! How about reading your Google News within Facebook. Get the app here.
- gHacks has an interesting article on how to use Greasemonkey to enhance the look & feel of Gmail. This is only for Firefox users.
- The Mozilla Foundation has announced a new program called Prism. Prism is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop. A prototype version for Windows is available for download.

- Xubuntu is a distribution of Ubuntu Linux and version 7.10 is available. Read a review about it at The Great Software List Blog.
- FaceBook has announced a $10m fund for developing FB Apps. Wow!!! You can expect a hell of a lot of new apps on FaceBook in the near future for sure.
- Flock is a “social web browser” and recently released a beta of its 1.0 version.
- TechCrunch has an interesting article which claims that Gmail will be enabling IMAP support. This is just going to take Gmail a step forward in the right direction and help it differentiate itself further from its competition.
- Do you use Flickr? Yes?? These Greasemonkey scripts will be a great add-on for you in that case.
