MySpace has launched a beta version of its Instant Messaging Service called MySpaceIM.
According to their site, this is what it is capable of as of now:
- IM your MySpace friends any time
- One-Click login to mail, bulletins, and more
- Instant alerts for all requests, messages, and comments
- Find and view your friends’ profiles with one click
A sample screenshot taken from their website of the IM client is shown below:

MySpace: Take Down Stay Down
MySpace has launched a copy protection software for its media content, called ‘Take Down Stay Down‘ which will ensure that content once pulled off the site stays that way and any attempts to upload the same content is unsuccessful. It does this by taking digital fingerprints of the media and ensuring that similar fingerprints are not allowed to be uploaded.
I think this is a good step in the right direction. What do you think of it?
