MySpace launches instant messaging service: MySpaceIM

MySpace has launched a beta version of its Instant Messaging Service called MySpaceIM.
According to their site, this is what it is capable of as of now:
- IM your MySpace friends any time
- One-Click login to mail, bulletins, and more
- Instant alerts for all requests, messages, and comments
- Find and view your friends’ profiles with one click
A sample screenshot taken from their website of the IM client is shown below:

Yahoo! Messenger for the Web
Does the corporate proxy server block the ports Yahoo! Messenger uses?
Well…here’s Yahoo! Messenger for the Web. The same Instant Messenger but it runs within your browser. Sounds cool!

I’ve been using it for a few days and its quite good. Infact, its almost the same as the regular IM client.
So, lets hope your proxy server doesn’t block access to this new URL now!
