Some useful links for the day:

  • YouTube Canada is now live! This will now ensure that Canadian’s get access to some local media content on this specific website. YouTube has been recently launching region specific portals to draw in more users to their service.

  • Do you want to give out a press release for free? Mashable has a list of 20+ press distribution sites. The discussion on the article is interesting and gives insights into which of those sites are popular.
  • Google’s OpenSocial is getting larger by the day. They already have an impressive list of social networks that have joined this network. This includes the likes of LinkedIn, Plaxo, MySpace, Hi5, etc.
  • Do you want to watch movies for free? DownloadSquad has an interesting article on 5 websites where you can watch movies (legally!) for free.
  • Adobe has launched a beta of BuzzWord, a free online Word Processing Software to take on the like of Google Docs, and Zoho.
