Useful links for the day:

  • Xubuntu is a distribution of Ubuntu Linux and version 7.10 is available. Read a review about it at The Great Software List Blog.
  • FaceBook has announced a $10m fund for developing FB Apps. Wow!!! You can expect a hell of a lot of new apps on FaceBook in the near future for sure.
  • Flock is a “social web browser” and recently released a beta of its 1.0 version.
  • TechCrunch has an interesting article which claims that Gmail will be enabling IMAP support. This is just going to take Gmail a step forward in the right direction and help it differentiate itself further from its competition.
  • Do you use Flickr? Yes?? These Greasemonkey scripts will be a great add-on for you in that case.
